It's now possible to upload an order via a .xlsx or .csv spreadsheet. If you'd rather input your order directly into Rewards Genius, check out our simple ordering guide or our Advanced Mode order guide.

How to Place an Order

  • Click "Place an Order" in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. Click the "More Order Options" button in the top-right corner. Select "Download Bulk Template."

  • Open the Excel spreadsheet and go to the "Instructions and Examples" tab at the bottom of the page. 

  • Note: Required fields are highlighted orange and include: ETID, Recipient Email, Recipient First Name, UTID and Reward Amount. Your available ETIDs and UTIDs can be found in separate tabs of the Bulk Order Template

  • Be sure that when entering information that there are no spaces in the beginning, or ending, of entered information. This will cause the file to fail.

  • Please begin entering information on Line 2 of the excel sheet under the "Order" tab. Save your file with a unique filename. 

  • Note: To prevent duplicate order processing, Rewards Genius requires each uploaded file to have a unique file name.

  • If you add text in the "Reward Message" field, please be sure to include the {{message}} dynamic tag in your email template.

  • In your Rewards Genius portal, click "Place an Order" in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. Click the "More Order Options" button in the top-right corner. Select "Upload Bulk File."

  • Note: Files with names containing the following special characters ("#", "%", ";") will not upload.

  • If your file has any errors, those fields will be highlighted in red.

  • Correct errors, if applicable. Click "Next" at the bottom of the page. 

  • Select Group Name and Account Name in the drop-down fields to the left. If your account has insufficient funds, click "Add Funds."

  • Please be sure to check your account name in the top right corner before placing your order.
    If it is not the account name you want to withdraw funds to place your order, please click the account name and click Switch Accounts to select the correct account.

  • Review your Order Summary and click "Place Order" or "Save for Later." Confirm by clicking "Yes, place my order." 

  • Once your order is complete, you'll be taken to the "Order Summary" where you can see the order status and more details about each line item. Click here to learn more about Order History.
