Your Tango portal comes with a few Reward Link® options by default, which can be redeemed for dozens of different specific gift card brands. How do I add specific branded gift cards to my Tango portal?
To request specific brands to be added to your Tango catalog, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or success@tangocard.com. Some applications to add specific gift card brands to a Tango Platform's catalog must first go through an approval process.
What's the difference between my Tango catalog and the Tango reward catalog?
Your Tango catalog shows the rewards that are currently enabled on your specific Tango platform. The Tangocard.com shows the full list of gift card brands that are available for Tango to add to customer catalogs. If you see a brand in the Tango Reward Catalog but not in your Tango portal, it means the brand is available but has not yet been enabled for your catalog.
Do I need eligibility approval to send branded gift cards internationally?
Branded gift cards do not follow the same eligibility requirements as prepaid or cash‑equivalent rewards, so you do not typically need a separate eligibility review to send them internationally. However, some brands require direct approval for certain use cases. Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) at success@tangocard.com can confirm if any restrictions apply to your intended program. What branded gift card options are already accessible through Reward Links and other choice products?
Many popular branded gift cards (for example, Starbucks, Amazon, and Target) are already available as options within Reward Link® and other choice products, where the recipient chooses their preferred brand at redemption time. For many use cases, offering a selection of rewards is preferable to sending only one. See About Reward Link®.
Where will I see newly added brands once they’re approved?
After your CSM confirms that specific brands have been approved and added to your catalog, they appear as available rewards when you go to Send rewards in the Tango portal. You can then follow the steps in Send digital rewards with Tango to deliver those rewards.
Can I remove or disable specific branded gift cards later?
If you need to remove or disable a specific branded gift card from your catalog, contact your CSM or email success@tangocard.com and they can review options with you.
Once specific branded gift cards are added to my catalog, how do recipients receive them?
When sending specific branded gift cards through the Tango portal, recipients can receive their rewards by email, SMS, or physical delivery, depending on the reward type and your delivery preferences. Digital rewards can be redeemed right away, subject to the card's terms and conditions. You can customize messaging for any delivery method. You can customize branding for email delivery.
