QR code delivery enables instant reward distribution without requiring recipient email addresses. When you place an eligible reward order with QR code delivery, recipients can scan the code with their smartphone to immediately access their reward URL.
Use case
Suppose you are a warehouse manager or manufacturing supervisor at Acme Health, overseeing a large team of on-site staff who don’t have email addresses. You can place a reward order in Tango on your tablet, generate a QR code, walk up to the recognized employee on the job, and present the QR code. The employee simply scans the code with their phone and redeems the reward instantly—no email or phone number required. This frictionless process enables real-time recognition, boosts morale, and ensures rewards are delivered quickly and securely in the field.

Permissions
QR Code delivery is disabled by default. To access platform settings and enable QR code delivery, you must have Entire organization access and Platform settings permissions.
Follow the instructions below to enable QR code delivery for your platform. Once enabled, it appears as a delivery method for eligible rewards in your platform. Delivering a reward via QR code does not require any contact information, such as the email address or phone number. See how you can Send digital rewards with Tango. QR codes are not eligible for scheduled delivery.

Only Choice products qualify for resend, cancellation, and reissue of rewards delivered with a QR code.
To enable QR code delivery for your platform:

Sign in to the Tango portal.

Click Platform settings on the left menu.

Click Delivery methods. A pop-up window appears with configuration options.

For QR code, select Enabled. The QR code delivery is now supported on your platform.
