Manage delivery methods

The delivery methods configuration allows Tango portal admins to choose how rewards are sent to recipients:

  • Email: Rewards are delivered directly to the recipient’s email address. This method is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.
  • QR code: Rewards are delivered via a unique QR code with a secure URL No email address is required. This method is optional and must be enabled by an admin.
  • Text: Rewards are sent to the recipient’s mobile number via text. This method is optional and must be enabled by an admin.

While email delivery is always active and cannot be changed, QR code and text (SMS) delivery methods can be enabled or disabled according to your organization’s preferences. This flexibility allows you to tailor reward delivery to best suit your recipients’ needs and enhance their overall experience.

Permissions

To access platform settings and configure delivery methods, you need Organization Access and the Manage permission for Authentication.

Manage delivery methods

Email delivery is enabled by default on all platforms. You can enable mobile reward or QR code delivery as needed. To enable mobile reward delivery, first accept the Mobile Delivery Addendum through the Tango portal on behalf of your organization. For detailed steps, see Enable mobile reward delivery. Once signed, activate the Text delivery option. Note that Email delivery is always enabled by default and cannot be changed.

To manage delivery methods for your platform:

  1. Sign in to the Tango portal.

  2. Go to Platform Settings on the left menu.

  3. Select Delivery methods to open the configuration panel.

  4. Use the toggles to enable Text or QR code delivery options as needed. Your platform can now use the Enabled delivery method.
