The delivery methods configuration allows Tango portal admins to choose how rewards are sent to recipients:
- Email: Rewards are delivered directly to the recipient’s email address (default option).
- Text: Rewards are sent to the recipient’s mobile number via text.
Email delivery method is enabled by default and cannot be changed. Mobile reward delivery method (text delivery), however, can be enabled or disabled based on your organizational preferences. These settings ensure flexibility in how recipients receive their rewards, enhancing accessibility and user experience.
Permissions
You must have “Organization Access” and “Authentication” permission to be able to access platform settings and configure delivery methods.

Manage delivery methods
To activate the mobile reward delivery feature for your platform, you must accept the Mobile Delivery Addendum through the Tango portal on behalf of your organization. See Enable mobile reward delivery. Once the addendum is signed, toggle the Text delivery option to enable it. The Email delivery option is enabled by default and cannot be modified.
To manage delivery methods:

Sign in to the Tango portal.

Navigate to Platform Settings on the left menu.

Click Delivery methods to open the configuration box.

Toggle Text delivery On or Off from this menu.
