Answer

A Tango user can be a Human Resources (HR) leader, a researcher, a business owner, or anyone that works with an organization that wants to send rewards! With a user profile on a Tango Platform you can send rewards, view account balances, manage accounts and groups, and perform other actions depending on your role and permissions.

Tango admins can invite new users to the platform and edit or delete existing user profiles. Admins can configure their users' Permissions and Access Levels to allow other users to add and manage users as well.

With user Manage Permissions and Organization-Level Access, you can:

Add a new user

As a Tango admin, when you add new users, you can set their permissions and their access level to the entire organization, or just a specific group or account in the organization. See Set user permissions and access level. Whether you are an admin or a user with organization-level access and users manage permissions, here is how you add users:

To create a new user profile in Tango portal:

  2. Click  Team settings > Users on the left menu.

    Note:
    • Each Tango profile is associated with a unique email address on their Tango Platform.
    • An email address can only be associated with one Tango Platform at a time. If you need to move a user profile to a different Tango platform you will need to reach out to success@tangocard.com

  5. Click the Permissions tab to set the user's permissions.
  6. Select a Role. See Default user roles in Tango.
  7. Click View permissions associated with role to expand all available Permissions.
  8. Toggle the user's Permissions off and on as needed. See Set user permissions and access level.
  9. Click the Access Level and give your user Organization Access, or pick specific Groups or Accounts the user can access with Specific Access. See Set user permissions and access level.
  10. Click Invite. A banner appears to confirm that the user has been created and the invite has been sent.

Note:

Edit user profiles

As a Tango admin, you can edit user display names, permissions, and their access level in the organization. See Set user permissions and access level. If you are not a Tango admin, you must still have the organization-level access and manage permissions to edit other user profiles.

To edit a user profile:

  1. Sign in to the Tango portal.
  2. Click  Team settings > Users on the left menu.
  3. If needed, enter the user’s first name, last name, or email address and press Enter on your keyboard to Search.
  4. Click anywhere on the row for the user you'd like to edit.
  5. In the Details tab, you can edit their First and Last Name.
  6. Click on the Permissions tab to toggle the user's permissions off and on as needed, click on the Access Level tab to change the user's access levels to the organization. See Set user permissions and access level.
  7. Click Save when you've finished making changes.

Delete user profiles

If a user has moved or is no longer working in their role, you can delete their user profile. As a Tango admin, you can delete users profiles. If you are not an admin, you must still have the organization-level access and manage permissions to delete other user profiles. Learn how to Set user permissions and access level.

To delete a user profile:

  1. Sign in to the Tango portal.
  2. Click  Team settings > Users on the left menu.
  3. Click anywhere on the row for the user you'd like to delete.
  4. Click the Actions drop-down menu and select Delete.
  5. Click Remove user on the confirmation screen to finalize the deletion.

Note: If a user has been deleted from a platform by mistake, or needs to be added back, a Tango Admin or user with adequate permissions can add them as a new user to the same Tango Platform.

Migrate or move a user from one Tango Platform to another

Since a user can only have one profile associated with their email address on one Tango Platform at a time, users will need multiple email addresses to access multiple Tango Platforms. If a user needs to be moved from one Tango Platform to another for any reason, reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or success@tangocard.com for further assistance.
