Do you need to change your Tango portal password? Whether you forget your password after a long vacation or need to update it per your company requirements, here is what you should know:
Note:- When resetting your Tango password, you won't be allowed to use any passwords that have been used for your user profile before. We recommend creating a brand-new, unique password.
- Resetting a password only works with user profiles that use a password for signing into the Tango portal; it isn't possible to reset a password used with Google or SAML SSO from the Tango portal. A Google email password has to be reset through your Google account, and an SSO password has to be reset through your organization's Identity Provider (IdP).
- Your password must contain at least one of each of the following:
- lower-case letters
- upper-case letters
- numbers
- special characters (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *). Dashes, pluses, parentheses, and slashes are invalid characters for Tango passwords, and can't be used.
To reset your password:
- Sign in to the Tango portal.
- Enter your email address and click Continue.
- Click Forgot password.
- Your email address is populated. Click Continue.
- An email with password reset instructions is sent to your email address on file from noreply@tangocard.com. Click Resend email if you have not received it yet.
- Open your email and click Reset password. It allows you to enter a new password on the reset screen. The password strength meter indicates the strength of your password.
- Click Reset password again.
