Tango is organized in three tiers: platform, groups, and accounts.

Platform is the topmost layer. You can only access one platform at a time, whether your organization is complex or simple. Admins with Organization Level access can manage groups and accounts:

Groups are the second level under the platform. At least one group exists on each platform and may have the same name as the platform. Groups contain accounts and cannot be deleted or disabled.

Accounts are nested within groups. All transactions including adding funds or sending rewards are managed at the account level. If you want to keep funds separate for different programs (for example, an employee-incentive program vs. a customer-referral program, we recommend using different accounts.
Note:
- You must be a Tango admin with Organization Access or a user with Manage permissions for Groups & Accounts to create, edit, or deactivate Accounts and Groups on your platform.
- You can create multiple Accounts within one Group.
- Group and Account names can contain spaces, hyphens, letters, and numbers. Names must have 5–100 characters.
Create a new account
You can create a new Tango account choosing one of the supported currencies (USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR) and add it to an existing group.
To create a new account:

Sign in to the Tango portal.

Click 
Team settings > Accounts on the left menu.

Select Create Account.

Enter a Display Name for the account.

Enter a Contact Email for the account.

Click to Select existing group.

Select the Currency of the newly created account. Tango supports USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR currencies. Once selected and saved, the account currency cannot be changed.

Click Create Account.
You are creating a new account under this group.
Create a new group
You can create a new Tango group by going through Create Account flow and add the new Tango account to it. Follow the instructions below to create a new group in your Tango platform:
To create a new group:

Sign in to the Tango portal.

Team settings > Accounts on the left menu.

Select Create Account.

Enter a Display Name for the account.

Enter a Contact Email for the account.

Select Create group and enter a New group name.

Select the Currency of the newly created account. Tango supports USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR currencies. Once selected and saved, the account currency cannot be changed.

Click Create Account.
The new group is created with the new account under it.
