If your Tango account is pre-funded and you have residual funds after rewards are sent, you can move funds back from your Tango account to your bank account. 
 

Note:
  • You must have Entire organization access and Manage Funding & payments permissions to request a refund. 

  • Tango has to perform a full reconciliation on the account to confirm the amount being requested for refund is a valid amount based on the transactional data in the account which may take up to 30 days to complete. 



To request a refund, email funding@tangocard.com with your request and include the following information:

Details

 Tango account numberSee Find your Tango account number.
 Amount to be refunded Specify the amount you want refunded. 
 Refund method

Choose one:

  • ACH or Wire transfer
  • Check
  • Credit card (only if you originally funded by credit card) 
 Banking details
  • ACH/Wire: Banking information for refund by ACH or Wire
  • Check: Name and mailing address for refund by check
  • Credit card: The last four digits of your credit card for refund by credit card
