Do you need to pay Tango but don’t have a Tango user profile? Suppose you use a program in your organization that runs on the Tango API and never required login access to the Tango portal. Or, suppose you work in your organization's finance team managing employee rewards payments. You need to add funds to your company’s Tango account but find you don’t have a user profile on the Tango portal.
You can fund your Tango account, but be sure to provide your Account number when sending funds. Our funding team will confirm receipt and application of funds to your account.
Note:
- If you are not a Tango platform user, you can only use ACH/wire or check.
- If you are initiating/sending the payment, ask someone with access to the Tango portal such as an administrator to get the Tango account number to share with the Tango funding team.
- Failure to provide the Tango Account number or to submit the remittance to funding@tangocard.com may lead to a potential delay or result in the return of funds to the sender after a 14 business days.
You can fund your Tango Account in multiple ways:
- Get invited as a user:
Ask your company’s Tango admin user to invite you to your company’s active platform as a user and assign the necessary permissions in funding so that you can fund the account. See how your admin can Add, edit, delete users and then how you can Activate your Tango account.
- Pay with ACH or Wire:
You can pre-fund your Tango Account with ACH or Wire transfer in a few steps:

Get your Tango Account number from your Tango administrator before you initiate the transfer. Account number is a unique alphanumeric identifier such as “A12345678” used to identify any specific Tango account for a transaction. Learn how to Access your Tango Account number. You need the Account number for the ACH/Wire memo.
