
Add a personalized message to an individual reward in one order
While reviewing the cart, you can include a personalized message to a single email template and apply it to a selected reward in that order. Click Customize and edit template next to the reward while viewing the items in your shopping cart—prior to checkout. Make sure you're in the View All Recipients mode to access the customization option. See Send digital rewards with Tango for more information.
To add a personalized message to an individual reward in one order:
- Sign in to the Tango portal and select rewards for email delivery.
- Select the rewards you want to include in your order (using Email delivery).
- In the cart, click the link labeled Customize and edit template next to a reward. Make sure you are in the View all recipients mode.

In the email template, personalize the Subject (reward’s name) and Message (limit 3000 characters) fields. The From Name (email sender) field will update the value for any {{from_name}} tags you have in your template.
Note: The Redemption instructions for the reward is tied to the reward and cannot be changed. - Click Apply Template to go back to the cart.
- Click Proceed to Checkout and place order. See Send digital rewards with Tango.
Add personalized messages with bulk order
When using bulk order upload to send rewards in bulk, use the ETID column to specify the email template ID you want to apply. To personalize the message for each reward, enter your custom text in the Message column. This allows you to tailor both the email template and the message for every individual reward in the order.
