Did you know that you can send personalized messages with your rewards? Modify the message of the existing email template (default or not) before going to the cart. The message is applied to all rewards in that order. To send a customized message with an individual reward, modify the template for that reward while in the shopping cart. Note:
- If you edit an email template before going to the shopping cart, the custom message goes out with all rewards in your order.
- If you edit and apply an email template in the shopping cart, the custom message goes out with that reward only.
When sending multiple rewards with bulk upload, enter the Email Template ID (ETID) and a custom message in the Message column. The custom message is applied to every reward in that bulk upload. See What is an ETID?

Select and apply one email template with a unique message to all rewards in one order. The new message applies to every reward added to the cart at that time. Make sure you select the template after selecting the rewards and before going to the cart. Here’s how:
To add a personalized message to all rewards in one order:
- Sign in to the Tango portal and select rewards for email delivery.
- Enter the reward information such as amount, name and email address.
- Click Customize and edit under the email template.
- In the email template, customize Subject (reward’s name), Message (limit 3000 characters), and From Name (email sender).
Note:
- The template applies to the all rewards in your order.
- Redemption instructions for the reward is tied to the reward and cannot be changed.
- Click Apply Template to go back to the cart.

When using balk upload to send multiple rewards, use both ETID and the Message columns to customize the email template and message with each reward. See Send bulk rewards with Tango.

- In the email template, update the Subject (reward’s name), Message (limit 3000 characters), and From Name (email sender).

- The Redemption instructions for the reward is tied to the reward and cannot be changed.
- Click Apply Template to go back to the cart.
