The Tango package in Salesforce includes a setup wizard that helps you connect Salesforce to your Tango portal.
Prerequisites
You must be logged in to Salesforce as a user with the Tango Setup Permission. For help with permission set assignment, see: Step 2: Assign Tango permissions.
You need your Tango Platform Name and API Key. To obtain these, contact your Tango Customer Success Manager (CSM) or email: success@tangocard.com
Step 1: Open the Tango Setup app
Log in to your Salesforce account as a user with Tango Setup Permission.
Open the App Launcher:app-launcher: .
In the search bar, type Tango Setup. Alternatively, click View All, then search for Tango Setup in the apps list.
Select Tango Setup. The connection setup window opens.
If the setup window is blank, you may not have the correct permissions. Contact your Salesforce administrator to verify your access.
Step 2: Run the setup wizard
Click Get Started on the Tango Setup landing page.
Enter your Tango Platform Name and API Key.
Click Authorize. A green status bar indicates that the connection is successfully established.
Select your Tango portal production or sandbox Environment. When using a production environment, real funds are used to send rewards.
Note: When switching between the production and sandbox environments, you must delete your previous program records to avoid issues.
